Shooka has been a licensed attorney since 2008. For the last three years, she has served in-house at a large travel agency that is headquartered in Los Angeles, California, with offices nationwide. Prior to this, Shooka worked in class action wage and hour litigation at a Plaintiff’s firm in Los Angeles, California.
Shooka’s extensive experience includes an internship at Migrant Helpline, a non-profit in the United Kingdom that provides guidance and counseling to refugees, the Securities Arbitration Clinic at Hofstra Law School, providing mediation and arbitration services in securities disputes, and a one year certified law clerkship for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office in the Preliminary Hearing Unit, the Malibu Satellite office, and Major Crimes.
Shooka co-founded SCALE Legal in an effort to bridge the justice gap and provide legal help to those that would otherwise go unrepresented.
